Via ferrata set rental in Ticino

Do you want to do a via ferrata in Ticino on your own? purelements® gives you the equipment you need!

Are you a via ferrata lover? Do you like the mountains and do you have a head for heights? Would you like to try this incredible experience with your friends, but you don’t have the necessary equipment? No problem, because purelements® can lend you the complete via ferrata set: helmet, harness and shock absorber.

In Ticino there are two incredibly spectacular via ferratas with breathtaking views. The Tre Signori via ferrata is located near Bellinzona directly above the famous Carasc suspension bridge and is of medium / difficult difficulty. We recommend that you take the cable car up to Mornera, unless you are a top athlete in excellent physical condition! After the via ferrata you will surely be very hungry and that is why we recommend you to eat something in the Grotto Mornera, where you can taste typical Ticino dishes and a good glass of local wine.

The San Salvatore via ferrata is located near Lugano and is correspondingly short but very challenging with an incredible view over the city and Lake Ceresio.
Once at the top, you can enjoy the view, which is simply breathtaking! If you are hungry, you can eat something at Ristorante Vetta San Salvatore and then decide whether you want to tackle the descent on foot or by cable car.

Make sure you have enough experience and mental/physical strength before tackling this adventure on your own.
Even if the via ferrata seems quite safe and doable, you should not underestimate the danger and the effort involved. You have to be in good physical condition and it is important to find out about the difficulty and duration of the via ferrata to be sure that you will not get dizzy and that the weather is stable!
Equipment can be picked up in Sementina, but it is necessary to book in advance and agree on the pick-up time. The equipment is regularly serviced by an expert, so you can enjoy the activity knowing that you have safe and reliable equipment.

If you don’t feel comfortable going alone, the purelements® team will be happy to accompany you!

We had an amazing day with Raquel! We were both relatively new to canyoning and she took her time to explain things properly and make sure we had a great time! We will definitely be back! Thanks Raquel!
